Terms of Service

These Terms explain how scheduling, service conditions, and payments work for mobile dockside detailing with Gold Coast Detailing.

Effective: May 29, 2026View PricingContact

Services Provided

We provide mobile boat and yacht detailing services including washing, waxing, polishing, oxidation removal/gelcoat restoration, interior cleaning, and ceramic coatings.

Estimates & Pricing

  • Quotes are based on the information you provide and may change after in-person inspection.
  • Heavy oxidation, staining, mold, neglect, or added labor may affect final pricing.
  • Larger vessels, difficult access, or special marina rules may require a custom quote.
  • Written quote approval confirms the listed scope, quoted price, payment timing, and these Terms.

Quote Approval & Electronic Acceptance

Gold Coast Detailing may send a private approval link by email or text. Typing your name, checking the terms acknowledgement, and submitting the approval is treated as your authorization to move forward with the listed work.

Approval records may include the accepted scope, price, terms version, timestamp, IP address, browser information, and customer contact details.

Scheduling, Weather, and Access

Mobile dockside work depends on safe conditions. Appointments may be rescheduled due to rain, lightning, unsafe wind, tides, or marina restrictions that affect safety or quality.

You are responsible for confirming marina approval and ensuring we can access the vessel at the scheduled time.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, reasonable access to the vessel and work area.
  • Remove valuables and personal items before service.
  • Disclose known damage, weak gelcoat, or sensitive areas.
  • Secure pets and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Avoid interrupting, directing, or standing in active work areas when it affects safety, timing, or service quality.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unpaid balances may result in additional fees or collection efforts.

For multi-visit work, each visit may be billed separately unless a written quote says otherwise.

Maintenance Plans

Maintenance plans reserve recurring service availability but do not remove per-visit billing unless a written agreement says a different billing method applies. The default billing timing is per completed visit.

Maintenance customers must provide at least 7 days notice to cancel or pause recurring service. Missed access, unsafe weather, marina restrictions, or unavailable vessels may require rescheduling.

Card On File

Some maintenance plans require a card on file before the plan is fully active. Saving a card authorizes Gold Coast Detailing to keep the payment method on file for approved future invoices and recurring maintenance billing.

We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Payment methods are handled through Stripe. Automatic charging may be added only when clearly stated in writing or approved for that customer workflow.

Satisfaction & Corrections

If something isn’t right, tell us within 24 hours of completion. We’ll review and correct issues that fall within the scope of the original service.

Personal Belongings & Pre-Existing Conditions

Customers are responsible for removing or securing personal belongings, loose items, electronics, valuables, cushions, covers, tools, and accessories before service begins.

We are not responsible for pre-existing mildew, rust, staining, aged canvas, brittle vinyl, failing gelcoat, loose hardware, compromised repairs, or items left in compartments or storage areas.

Photo Documentation

We may take before, during, and after photos or videos to document vessel condition, service progress, completed work, access issues, and customer concerns. These records may be used for quality control, invoices, internal records, dispute review, and limited marketing unless you ask us not to use identifiable images.

Damage or Missed-Scope Claims

Any damage claim, missed-scope concern, or correction request must be reported within 24 hours of completion so the condition can be reviewed while the work record is fresh.

Claims made after that window may be harder to verify and may not be covered unless required by law or confirmed by our review.

Limitation of Liability

  • Pre-existing damage, cracking, fading, or deterioration.
  • Aged/compromised gelcoat or previously repaired areas.
  • Mechanical/electrical issues unrelated to detailing.

Total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes will be handled in Volusia County, Florida.
